About the Artist
In 2019, after an injury that left her dominant arm shattered, Britta was forced to re-trained her hand to hold a pencil. This process re-ignited an interest in drawing, something she had not done regularly since childhood. Britta quickly became driven to create pieces that reflected the world around and inside her. Much of her inspiration comes from the urban landscape of Baltimore, and the nature of greater Maryland. In 2019, her work was featured in Baltimore's Fan Fest for Mr Trash Wheel and the following year she began training at the Baltimore Academy of Illustration. Please feel free to contact her about commissions. Prints will be available shortly on this website.
